Assigning Non-Scorer Status¶
It is not uncommon for athletes to be exempt from scoring in an individual event or an entire competition. When this happens, it is useful to mark them as a non-scorer, either for all events, or in a specific event. Alternatively, if you have an individual event you wish to exclude from scoring altogether, you can mark the event itself as non-scoring.
Non-Scoring Athlete — Entire Competition¶
To mark an athlete as non-scoring for all events, go to Manage Competitors, search for the athlete you wish to edit, and click on their name. A pop-up will appear.
In the Advanced tab, check the non-scorer box and click SAVE CHANGES.
Non-Scoring Athlete — Individual Event¶
To mark an athlete as non-scoring for an individual event, go to Manage Competitors, search for the athlete you wish to edit, and click on their name. A pop-up will appear.
On the Events Entered tab, check the non-scorer box for each event you wish the athlete not to score in, and click SAVE CHANGES.
Non-Scoring Events¶
Marking an event as non-scoring is done in the advanced event configuration screen.
Once in the advanced configuration page, click Exclude from scoring system and SAVE CHANGES.
Showing Non-Scoring Athletes Last¶
By default, non-scoring athletes are displayed in results where their performance would have ranked them, but are not awarded a position.
To change this so that they appear behind all scoring athletes, tick the Non-scorers display last setting in the Competition Details management screen.
