Manual Seeding¶
OpenTrack's automated seeding screens are great at quickly seeding all your races, but you can still utilise manual seeding to make quick edits, or to craft your start list by hand.
Seeding Manually¶
Navigate to the event you wish to seed, then click on the EDIT button for the heat or pool you wish to seed.

This gives you the edit grid for that heat/pool — this is the same as is seen when manually inputting results.
For track start lists, input the lane and bib numbers for each athlete, then click SAVE.

For field start lists, input the jumping/throwing order and bib number for each athlete, then click SAVE.

Clicking SHOW ATHLETE DETAILS will show the name, age category, and club for each athlete.
Note
You can add any bib number you wish to a start list. However, if this bib number does not represent an athlete in the competition's competitor list, they will show in the start list as 'Unknown Athlete'.
Deleting a competitor from a competition but not removing them from any start lists means any start lists they were in will contain an Unknown Athlete, unless you remove the bib from the start list or award the bib to a different athlete.
