Manual Seeding¶
Track & Field Events¶
Our automated seeding screens are great at quickly seeding all your races, but you can still utilise manual seeding to make quick edits after using the automated seeding or for league matches which have pre-determined start list.
If you have a specific start order for track or field, then it is possible to manually create this.
Clicking on the event page, accessed from the competition homepage, then from the timetable select the event you want to seed. Click on the EDIT button for the heat you wish to seed.
You will be shown a grid, similar to what you see when manually input results. On the track simply input the lane number and bib number for each athlete in the heat, and click SAVE.
On the field it is the same, but you input the order instead of a lane number, and the each athletes bib number. Then click SAVE.
Clicking SHOW ATHLETE DETAILS will give you the further data on the athletes.
Warning
You must ensure all your athletes already exist in your competitor list either from an entry or manual creation, and that they've been assigned the bib number that they have in your start list.
You can add/edit competitors by going to Manage | Manage Competitors | Competitors , once your competitors are probaly loaded in, the start lists will pull through all their details so you see who's running in which heat.
