XC / Road Race Handicaps

If you have a road or XC race where groups of athletes will start at different times within the same race, and run with a handicap, then this can be sorted from the edit screens.

Go to the event and choose one of the edit options for the race you wish to input results for. It doesn't matter if you don't have a start list.

Handicaps

From here, make sure the HANDICAP checkbox is ticked. This will bring up the START TIME and FINISH TIME cells.

Handicaps

You also need to make sure that, on the SETTINGS tab, place calculation is set to AUTOMATIC.

Handicaps

You can now input the START TIME and FINISH TIME for your athletes. In this example we've given each athlete a different start time to highlight how it works but ordinarily you would expect multiple athletes in each wave.

Handicaps

The performances and placings are automatically calculated from the start and finish times provided.

Handicaps

The Results page show the start time (handicap) as well as the usual stuff you'd expect to see.
