Overriding Result Placings

OpenTrack calculates positions automatically, when given enough information, but you may sometimes wish to override these.

To do this, navigate to the edit screen for the event.

From here, there is an option toward the bottom of the screen labelled "Override places".

If you change this to MANUAL and then SAVE the page, you will then be able to edit the places in the grid by editing the Place (races) or Order (field events).

See in the example below the positions do not correspond to the times:
