Mailing

You can use the inbuilt mailing feature to send messages and information to your participants.

Click NEW MESSAGE from the right hand side.

Mail your Competitors

You will see the following screen:

Once you have chosen your recipients, a list of 'tokens' will appear, which you can use to ensure your email is addressed appropriately.

We advise sending a TEST message to yourself before sending to all your athletes!

If you want to draft a message and come back to it later, just hit SAVE.

The MAILING LIST button lists all emails in your chosen recipients.

Remote Check-in

The remote check-in feature allows you to see which athletes are planning to attend, before you seed your competition, by sending an email out with a check-in link.

To use the feature, head over to the Entry Config management screen and turn on both 'Require check-ins for whole competition' and 'Require check-in per event'.

Returning to the Mailing management screen, you should see the option to CREATE CHECK-IN EMAIL

Create Check-In Email

Before sending the check-in email, make sure all of your competitors are numbered.

If competitors have used the entry system, then we recommend setting the recipients to 'All Paid Entries'

The check-in email will use a ready made template which cannot be edited.

Athletes must be checked in to be seeded

You will only be able to seed those who are checked in, therefore you must ensure everyone who is intending to compete has checked in. You can send out an advanced check-in email, and then also allow competitors to be checked in when they collect their bib. You would then seed each race after registration closes.
