Access Codes

If you have a role in OpenTrack that you wish someone else to have, for example if you are one of multiple team managers for your club, then there is an easy way to share it with other people.

An access code can be generated in just a few clicks - after, simply share it with the person or people you want to give access to, and they can log in and get access straight away.

Creating an Access Code

To create an access code, head to your Athlete Profile using the dropdown in the top-right of your screen.

In the roles tab, you will see an option to share roles that come with permissions.

Clicking on the share button next to a role will take you to a new page, with a freshly generated code, or an already existing one should you have generated it in the past. Click on the code to copy it to your clipboard.

Using an Access Code

To use an access code you have been given, head to your My Invitations page using the dropdown in the top-right of your screen.

You can enter the access code into the form at the top of the page.

After clicking ADD, you will receive a message confirming your code has worked.

Once you have confirmation, you can use your new permissions.

Notifications

If you have created a code, you will get a notification email each time it is used, so you can keep track of who has been granted permissions.

Deactivating a Code

If you need a code deactivated for any reason, please get in touch.
