Adding a Competition to the Calendar

At OpenTrack, we are striving towards creating a global calendar for all athletics events.

To add your event to the calendar, you will need to create the competition using the link here.

Fill in the following fields:

• Name of the competition
• Date on which it will take place
• Competition type
• Location
• Slug

The slug is a short phrase that will be the ending of the competition's URL. You should make this memorable and it should be the same each year if you repeat the same competition. Please don't include dates (eg. otchamps2022 or otchamps22), as the date is already included in the URL. More information can be found here.

If your meeting requires a European Permit, please wait until we have approved your request and then fill out the permit application on the competition page.

If you are a federation representative you can create competitions without requiring OpenTrack approval - please let us know via support@opentrack.run, and we will enable this for you.
